Q: What does the word argamak mean?

A: It took me some time to find this Mongolian colleague in Ulaan Bator. Here
is her answer:

"Regarding the word ARGAMAC let me inform you that it is Mongolian word.
As it is written in the dictionary it is outdated word for Central Asian
pure breed horse, but now-a-days it is used for beautiful, elegant
(foppish, spruce and tidy) horse as a praising adjective. In Mongolian
it spells ARGAMAG."
