I can't help it but I am still so grateful for this winter.   This time of year used to be grim for me and horses in Sweden, either we had ice cold nothern winds with a lot of deep snow. Or ice cold northern wind and pure ice covering the pastures.
This morning I walked out of my stables with a cup of coffee (Swedish =)) in my hands and heard the thunder of hooves, out of the morning mist came our little heard of Tekes in full speed, performing their morning galopp on green pastures. No locked shoulders, stiff "ice-walk" or long days of stabeling this year.
Pure joy for me and my horses.

Jessica,

Is Orion still living with the girls?

Just trying out if the blog works from our new home computer.

Maria

Maria,
Seems like your computer will support blogging, a good computer in other words. Orion is not with the girls anymore. He still has the same easy going, friendly character though, he is a joy to handle.

Aha! No more girls then... You should see Mualim sniffing Spinney's dung - it is a sight to behold. He displays the full range of stallion behaviour, sniffing intentedly and raising his head up in the air with the top lip turned right out - same as our rams do.

I am starting to think of my next "equine monologue": it will be along the lines of: <What is a Mare?> By Mualim Shael.
