PermaLink Almaz has left us for new adventures03/28/2006 12:19 PM
Last Friday Almaz left his temporary stables in Holland and has arrived in his new stables in Czech Republic. Almaz typicalness, conformation, mentality and  rideability educated me about the capacity of the Teke breed and made me continue with the breed. He also introduced the Teke breed to Sweden as a high quality, sound and elegant breed with excellent movements.
He is a stallion that every horse person likes, no matter where you come from in the horse world he has all the qualities that appeal to horsemen.
At the same time he express the typical traits of the Teke breed.  Almaz has given us some very babies and some of them will stay with us forever. The Almaz babies have wonderful temperament and workability, the big and fearless Teke heart, as well as the beauty of the true Teke.
Almaz is the first foal of Azaleya, she has proven her qualities of a really good broodmare that has produced typical Tekes with very good performance abilities. Almaz is no exception.
When Almaz has left us to his new owners he took a little bit of my heart with him and I feel sadness, however, I am grateful that he will be able to continue to produce typical, sound and nice Tekes with his new owner's Teke herd in Europe. And I have his spitting image in little Prizma, who inherited 100% of his dry head and his sensible intelligence.
Almaz, good bye and thank you for everything, good luck in your new home. Congratulations to the new owners, I hope you will enjoy Almaz as much as we did.
