PermaLink Geldy, my friend05/16/2006 03:26 PM
Yesterday, I wrote a letter begging for your release, it  is easier now from the USA when I can fax and email the Turkmen Embassy than it was from Sweden were we had to fax to Turkmenistan and had sometimes problems with the connections.

I was reminded by your first visit to Sweden in 1998, when I took out the new clips from that time to check the grading results.
We had a great time then, didn't we! And all the publicity we got, national news papers, TV, radio.... I will scan and send those articles to your embassy in the USA to make sure that they understand that you are for ever remembered in Sweden.
Please, be strong and please come out of prison alive.

Here is a copy of the letter I sent by email and fax.

Turkmen Embassy, 05.15.2006
Washington DC

Honorable Ambassador,

I would like to express my humble gratitude to the Turkmen Nation for the creation and maintaining of the heavenly horses, the Akhal-Tekes.

The first meeting with this outstanding creatures changed my life forever and my first visit to your nation, the motherland of the eternal argamak filled my soul with joy and gratitude.

The hospitality your country showed to me, a humble breeder from a land far away in the North, Sweden, taught me that bonds of friendship do not care about nations or borders.

In my speech as the president and founder of the Swedish Akhal-Teke association, held at the International Akhal-Teke Meeting held in Ashgabat in the year 2000 I honestly said, that the Turkmen horses, are not only the wings of the Turkmen, but also the wings of the Swedes.

We have tried to give back to your nation by inviting President Saparmurad Niazov to attend important events in Sweden such as the first Akhal-Teke show ever held outside Russia and Turkmenistan in 1997 as well as the very important event the Grand National Driving Event at Tjolöholm’s Castle in Sweden where the Swedish Royal family attended.
Unfortunately your President and head guardian of the heavenly breed could not attend but sent his servant Mr Geldy Kyarizov to represent the motherland of the heavenly horse.

I must admit that we were a little bit disappointed to not be able to invite the greatest protector and the saviour of the argmak but we have to understand that important matters kept the President from attending these events. However, Geldy Kyarizov was doing a good job promoting and building friendship bonds with us as well as Swedish royalty and many Swedes feel that we are now closer to Turkmenistan.

My health has prevented me from visiting your magical country for many years, but news has reached me that Mr Kyarizov has made some grave mistakes and therefore has had to be sent to prison. I hereby send my humble sympathy to President Saparmurad Nyiazov who had to make such a decision, as we all know that President Saparmurad Niyazov once saved Mr Kyarizov from prison during the Soviet occupation of Turkmenistan, that was a very heroic act of President Saparmurad Niyazov and he took a big personal risk to save Mr Kyarizov.
I must now again, ask President Saparmurad Niyazov, to do the heroic act to free Geldy Kyarizov from prison, as I think Mr Kyarizov, our friend, a friend of the Swedish people now must be with his horses that are his soul, his life, his wings. I do not know if Mr Kyarizov deserves to be free due to his criminal acts, but I think that his Akhal-Tekes that belong to the world heritage of this sacred breed, need their master to come back and that many of us that live for and love with our souls the Turkmen horse, would feel that the breed again, would flourish if the President again, gave Mr Kyarizov his wings back.

My life and faith has taken me to live with my little herd of the heavenly horses in Florida, USA, therefore I send this letter to the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Washington with my humble request to the great President Saparmurad Niyazov.

Yours faithfully,

Mrs Jessica Eile-Keith

Soviet occupation of Turkmenistan? It is big question. Niyazov was been orphan got best education in Leningrad and became First cecretary of Comunist Party of Turcmenistan. First face. He was nothing and Soviets gave him all. That was not heroic act to up man, wich he got down.

Yet.. one should be extremely respectfull to someone as important as a 'president for live'.
