The coats have improved to be even more shiny than they were before. We now use Seminole Feed's Ultra Dynamix, if you are interested in the contents you can read more on http://www.seminolefeed.com/horses/ProductSheetsforWeb/UltraDynamix.htm
We also introduced alfa-alfa field bales two weeks ago so that the horses have free access to hay during the day, at night when they are stabeled they are on grass hay (Orchard grass from Kentucky). So far this change have been good and the horses seem to be doing fine. The first two days after they got access to the field bales they ate non-stop but now they have time to socialise and play as usual.

It is amazing how much of a difference good feed will do for a horse. I am a BIG fan of the Triple Crown feeds...especially their "complete" series. It is basically fortified with supplement....all the vitamins and minerals they need including copper....and biotin for good hooves. My pony is out all day on lush grass so he has to wear a muzzle part of the day bc he is too fat! The Barn owner is against horses being in stalls so that is my only option...I think he'd rather hang out in a stall....but oh well. ;)
