Within the next month we are so excited to finally test this combination that you can see in the pedigree below. The bloodlines and pedigrees are important in a blood breed like the Tekes, however, the combination we make is of course also based on typical, correct, sound horses with good character and temperament.
Here comes a question for you, how many Yulduz son's can you find in this pedigree? How many of the Yulduz son's that were used for breeding is not in this pedigree?
This will be an interesting little Teke baby, we will hopefully see the result next year.

I loved the look of Yulduz in a picture I saw. He sure looks fast and sleek!
Gelishikli makes sense on how you explain it. Why did you choose to breed Yulduz's line? Why Fakir Sulu?

'That's a good idea, testing our knowledge!!
Sons of Yulduz: Dagestan, Turali and Dornazarbek, right?
And I believe Adat, but to be sure I'll have to check.

By my opinion, most important in this pedigree Osanna (full sister of Omar) and inbreeding IV-IV to Passia, and that imortant, in both cases by direct woman line. Minus - there are a lot of small size horses in this combination. And may be, by my opinion, sons of Yulduz were used very wide, but were difficult, they were not exelent sires, like Garem. In general every breeder, wich used them, hoped on the magic of Yulduz. Look (I look at most interest horses), most sucsesfull Daghestan - Gaysan, Osman, Dorkush. After Gaysan only daughters and average Rakhmet. Osman - small quantity of daughters and young Orion and slim possibility of using. Dorkush - only one Shakhid, other very everage. Turali - into broodmares, Adat - ??? Only formal Pirakhmed and he is not in the type of Yulduz, he is the Pampa. Dornazarbek went into the broodmares.

Leonid, I still believe in the Yulduz magic! This because I am a novice breeder still experimenting.
Orion and Prizma are still young, not yet three years of age but the latest measurements per January Orion was 159.5 cm (ca 15.3 h) and Prizma 155 cm ( ca 15.1 h). Orion will reach our ideal size for stallions 160 - 163 cm, Prizma is small, smallest among our mares, but will grow a few more cm into an acceptable size for a mare, and we make the same judgement about her as for her mother, the type and pedigree is to good for us to not breed. Prizma is already 3 cm taller than her mother.
Thank you for bringing up the mare side of the pedigree, we think that this combination has many strong mares in it which is equally important as the stallions.
I think you made an excellent summary of the breeding value of the Yulduz' sons.

Tabitha, you should have added Adat! Four sons of Yulduz is correct answer.
Blanca, you can check out Pantera's pedigree under our horses on our web site.
Kerri-Jo, Fakir Sulu is the father of Gelishikli (and Fakirpelvan), himself a very good Teke, Yulduz is the best son of Gelishikli, himself a very good Teke.

The sons missing are the full brothers Minshikhli (had only 3 offspring in Chagorta) and Melgun who had many offspring in Germany.
Leonid, what happened to Rakhmet?
I hope we can get the size up on the Pel (Passiya) family. Look at
Oktava's (Ovgan's) family. The size was increased there....
I agree that only Dagestan continued the Yulduz traits to sons.
That's breeding for you. You think you know what you are doing and then nature swiftly reminds you that you have no clue...
