The Horse Comes From the East

this is the headline of an article published in Araber Journal in June 2003. The introduction reads "Arabian horse lovers sometimes have a slightly clouded vision about the origin of their breed and won't accept it when other breeds claim to be the oldest and purest, following are some facts and thoughts about the origin of the Arabian horse, regardless of the myths and legends."

This article is very good and it was refreshing to see it published in an Arabian magazine.

This is a nice picture of Pampa published in the same article

Is there any way I can get a copy of this article?

Carolyn, email me privately for a copy of the article. I will figure out a way to add a collection of articles and good advice from the blog to our web site during the summer. There are several work of interest that could be shared over the web.

What a great picture of a great mare! Jessica, do you consider her the massive type?

Pampa is Nisean type Teke, yes for me without doubt. Not only that, compare her to Ridgeway's Turk!
